Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota is a journalist who is also an author as well as the anchor for CNN's morning show "New Day." She lives in Westport, CT, and was elected to Westport Country Playhouse's Board of trustees. Camerota's thirty years in journalism has seen her write stories across the country and abroad. Furthermore, she is the recipient of several awards including the Edward R. Murrow Award and an Emmy Award. As part of other trustee board changes, Johnna G. Torsone of Stamford is named an honorary trustee, having been as a trustee since 2007 while Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport is elected board chair having served as board chair since 2013. Czekaj Farber succeeds Barbara Streicker from Westport who was chair of the board in the past year and continued in the position since 2006.
